SV	Daarom waren haar inwoners handeloos; zij waren verslagen en beschaamd; zij waren [als] het gras des velds, en de groene grasscheutjes, het hooi der daken, en het brandkoren, eer het over einde staat.
WLC	וְיֹֽשְׁבֵיהֶן֙ קִצְרֵי־יָ֔ד חַ֖תּוּ וַיֵּבֹ֑שׁוּ הָי֞וּ עֵ֤שֶׂב שָׂדֶה֙ וִ֣ירַק דֶּ֔שֶׁא חֲצִ֣יר גַּגֹּ֔ות וּשְׁדֵפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י קָמָֽה׃
Trans.	wĕyōšĕbêhen qiṣrê-yād ḥattû wayyēbōšû hāyû ʿēśeb śādeh wîraq dešeʾ ḥăṣîr gaggōwt ûšĕdēpâ lipnê qāmâ

AC	כו וישביהן קצרי יד--חתו ויבשו היו עשב שדה וירק דשא חציר גגות ושדפה לפני קמה
ASV	Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as grain blasted before it is grown up.
BE	This is why their townsmen had no power, they were broken and put to shame; they were like the grass of the field and the green plant, like grass on the house-tops.
Darby	And their inhabitants were powerless, They were dismayed and put to shame; They were [as] the growing grass, and [as] the green herb, [As] the grass on the housetops, and grain blighted before it be grown up.
ELB05	Und ihre Bewohner waren machtlos, sie wurden bestürzt und beschämt; sie waren wie Kraut des Feldes und grünes Gras, wie Gras der Dächer, und Korn, das verbrannt ist, ehe es aufschießt.
LSG	Leurs habitants sont impuissants, Epouvantés et confus; Ils sont comme l'herbe des champs et la tendre verdure, Comme le gazon des toits Et le blé qui sèche avant la formation de sa tige.
Sch	Und die darin wohnten, deren Hand zu schwach war, erschraken und wurden zuschanden; sie wurden wie das Gras auf dem Felde und wie grünes Kraut und Gras auf den Dächern und verwelktes Getreide, ehe es Halme gewinnt.
